By submitting a nomination or participating in the Latin American Awards Australia 2026, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Nominees must meet the eligibility criteria specified for each award category. Nominators must provide accurate and truthful information.
All nominations must be submitted through the official website before the deadline of March 15, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
All nominations are reviewed by an independent jury panel. Decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
Finalists and winners consent to their names and images being used in promotional materials related to the awards.
The Organisation reserves the right, at any stage of the nomination, selection, or award process, to request that any nominee undergo a national criminal history check in Australia and/or in their country of origin (or any other relevant jurisdiction), for the purpose of verifying that the nominee does not have disqualifying criminal history.
Nominees may also be required to provide documentation, authorisations, and consents necessary for the Organisation to verify criminal history, pending charges, ongoing investigations, or other relevant law-enforcement information.
Where a criminal record or relevant adverse information is identified — including, but not limited to, convictions, pending charges, ongoing criminal proceedings, or formal investigations relating to violence, sexual offences, serious dishonesty, fraud, drug-related offences, or similar serious matters — the Organisation may, at its sole discretion, disqualify the nominee without further notice.
For award recipients, final confirmation of the award is conditional upon the nominee providing official police checks issued in Australia and in their country of origin within the time frame specified by the Organisation. Where official documentation is unavailable due to circumstances beyond the nominee's control, alternative evidence may be considered at the Organisation's discretion. Failure to provide such documentation, or provision of information that reasonably raises concerns as to character or suitability, will result in withdrawal of the award.
The Organisation's decisions under this clause are final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding disqualification or eligibility determinations.
